KR after dp install...

Installed a zzp catless downpipe and now it pretty Mich immediately goes to 12.8:1 and then KR goes up from a 3500 hit in 3rd... I got out of it to be safe since it felt like a turd.... car was fine for the first 5-10 miles.... lots of gargle and Pops but a/f looked ok in the rpd...

For just a downpipe? I was under the impression that it was okay to run just a downpipe...

No tune necessary for the DP, but...

The turbo spools faster and you flow more with the DP, could be the extra load from more power is causing the KR.

to take full advantage of the DP, you need to be tuned. The learn-down can cause the KR, also using crap fuel too.

The car just spiked to 17.4lbs and settled to 12.8 lol.... I believe the boost control splendid is too slow.

Thingie seemed to have settled and it runs fine foe the most part... getting used to the new sounds too...

boost is fine it will move around a little you might one hot day c 20psi and one cold day you might only c 13psi. I had a DP on my car for 4 months then got a tune. after the tune my gas miles went up. you car has a learn down and it is trying to "save your car" but it thinks its stock. just put put around untell you get a tune

no exhaust leak... you have to tune it according to the DP... you are flowing more air now and the car is trying to restric it..."learn down"... dont use any less the 90 oct. and get it tune... you will have more power, better fuel, and more fun

for a catted, not catless. your rear o2 hates it, your car thinks its stock therefore looking for stock readings, now that your catless your rear o2 is getting a reading that somthing is not par.

The front WB 02 controls the fueling, not the rear, it's just there for OBDII codes.

Maybe the fuel trims are a little off due to the new found exhaust flow and causing some KR. Disconnect the battery and see if it helps any and besides these cars come stock with knock. Its a factory option they throw in for free
