Let The Mods Begin!

So as I told Mr.Bill on another thread I'm Riding stock untill the cold moves in and my mustang HAS TO stay in the stayble for a few months. Now I've read alot of threads, watched alot of dynos, read alot more but now its my turn to do the deed and heres what I'm looking to do.

-BatmoWheel-
-Porting the K04??(still gotta little more reading to do, links/info welcomed)
-Treadstone Intercooler kit w/ MAF Relocation-
-Treadstone intake-
Now the exhaust is where im hung up and need some advice/help/thoughts/etc I love the Turbo XS NOn Catted DP and FL CB combo. I also get a hard on for Straight pipe from the DP back.. I am caught up between the Turbo XS combo or A treadstone Catted DP with Treadstone NO Muffler 1 resonator CB.. anyone got a sound clip of the second combo tho? I've yet to hear how that sounds Thanks

Trifecta 24psi tune W/ my quick switch mod (see quick switch thread)

So what you think I'll Be looking at if I Beg Trifecta to do an Aggressive tune?

All "i'd do this or I went this route, ect is welcomed I know as a FWD car she will probably be TQ steering like hell but Fug it you gotta give to get..THAKS!!!

go zzp for the charge pipes

get a catless downpipe from them too, save money lol

not many people go the porting the k04 mod

def get an intercooler upgrade since the stock one breaks anyway and tends to be a weak link

find someone with HPTuners

dafuqs a batmowheel, sounds like something for the birds IMO

-Cattless worth anything real on the power #'s with these cars? I was just thinking to cat it if i go with the treadstone Straight pipe to save my neighbors as I role out for work at like 430ish an the regular lol

-I'd have to recheck but if HP does the "activation by DSC switch like TF then Yeah I'm in but last i checked they didn't please correct me if I am wrong.

DAFUK A BATMOWHEEL?!!!!!! Its like a gift from God for guys who run turbos, read some powerstroke diesel forums oh yeah this one too!!!

wouldnt focus on torque as much as holding power to redline. i believe the k04r can make 370whp on pump gas with a good tune just waiting to see someone make it happen

I'd read that thread there is a lot of info in there but I know it's a really long read. You can break 400tq with this turbo but so far the guys who have dynoed are on a crazy boost ramp or low boost. My clutch is gone and my car is back home (stuck there) so I can not do dynos or vids at the moment. I'm hoping to be in the 375hp range with this one guy has done it with e47 but I only have meth and 94 so we'll see if I can do it also I'm not running any boost ramp so I should have tons of TQ

I love you sig LOL but on topic do not waste your money on a batmowheel or porting a K-04. If you want more power than the stock turbo but something that bolts on get a ZFR with the high boost canister so you can tune it for 24psi or up to 29psi or higher if you wanted to. Unless you like waiting for weeks for tune updates and sub par tunes (their zfr tunes especially stink ask me how I know) stay away from Trifecta.

Ya for sure. Once I get my car back I'm gonna fix my final small boost leak then I'll post vids and screen shots of hp tuners and 60-100 times in that K04ftw thread.

Stay away from the batmowheel. Some guys did that, said it wasn't worth it. Little to no gains. Remember this is a lot smaller turbo than those desial trucks. The stock turbo on a tune does around 315whp and 400wtqish. I had trifecta tune on stock turbo, it's ok, runs rich, but hp tune is far better. Take it from a once trifecta fanboy here. A good tuner with hp tune. And ull get a tune with more power and car will run better. And as for turbo. Save up for a Zfr. U won't be sorry

What is your best 60-100 on stock turbo? How about with the big wheel K-04?

Going off feedback from numerous forum members Trifecta takes weeks to respond in many cases and it seems like Vince has another tuner or tuners working for him who from what I have seen have no clue what they are doing. On Tomj77's car he had horrible fuel trims and was severly underpowered on the ZFR. He had said it felt no faster than it was on stock turbo. It was likely making around 350whp or so maybe less based on how slow it was I took over tuning his car and now his car makes likely around 80-100 hp more than it did (proper wg tuning) and his fuel trims are near perfect.
