there you go. 50 dollars to Windsor ON, and your problems are over. In the meantime plug the hole in the tube, and put a fine nylon sock on the hose ( its fresh air inlet for the PCV) and the car will be fine while you wait for the stock tube to show up.

the moment you change to an aftermarket inlet tube and filter you will have to redo the fuel trims. Not sure the OP wants to go tune his car.

I would buy a Russell fuel rail adapter fitting that has a -6an male on the other end. Drill and tap a -6an female on the intake. Put some sort of glue or epoxy so that the fitting will not back out. I forgot what imperial thread that -6an has.
9/16 x 18;taps and dies are expensive in this size, especially taps...
Go wonky and you will need a tune. If you are prepared for that, fine , but it is not plug and play

I totally understand what some of you are saying, but i had my zzp tube/ k&n filter untuned for 3 months and had no issues..i honestly did not notice a difference at all.
But heck, if he can fix it for a dollar, then so be it.

Those plastic nipples are so fragile. When I had my Victory Redy 09 Sedan, the dealership broke it twice. They covered it once, I payed around $50 for a used one off a member here. I should of have spent $40 more for a permanent solution by ZZP, but I spent 20k more for a mustang haha. Brass fittings ftw.
Thanks for great suggestions. Not sure if I'll go with an aftermarket intake or tap it with a fitting. I'm a pipefitter by trade, so that shouldn't be too hard...
And thank you for that link, Sox-fan.
For now I put a bunch of electric tape to hold it together while I decide on what I'll do...

there is a new part that reduces the side load that the stainless line puts on the plastic nipple. check it out on CED.
