Zzp intake tube doesn't massively skew fuel trims as MAF stays in stock location. However, Powell is correct, they still drift a little. First hand experience on both of my cars, past and present.

T man, when we were trying to position the LNF PCV seperator on the strut tower, Vahdyx said the fuel trims changed when he rotated the filter (which is offset on his K&N cai ,) to clear the seperator. I found that surprising, but a bunch of folks said the same as you.

so.

we moved the seperator.

Yup, trims change because the filter is offset, not symmetrical. As you rotate it you change the air flow across the MAF. My experiences with the K+N is that it gives the best trims when the metal stripe is at 11:30 position, but every car will be slightly different.

Is that with a stock tune? What If I was trifecta tuned? Would it matter which way it's facing? Or just get it tuned for whichever way I install it? Just thought I'd throw it out there before I make a decision. Thanks ahead.

Why would you retune the car? You don't want to retune the car every time you take the filter off. Why not look at your hptuners, torque app, interceptor or whatever other scan tool you have, and just turn the filter until the trims go down to where they should be, tighten the clamp and call it good?
