LNF Compression
What every one is saying is that pulling the fuse for the fuel and holding the gas down with the coil packs/plugs off for a few strokes until the unit reaches its maximum pressure reading .. In other words the car has whats called smart start that you just rock the key to start the firing sequence and the computer takes it away from that point, You don't need to hold the key down like a traditional analog starter switch. . During the 25 second or so computer automated cranking period you should have the gas peddle WOT for 4 to 5 to 6 stokes then letting off the gas peddle allowing the computer to keep trying to start the engine until it dies.
If you didn't do it that way you didn't do it right ?
You are supposed to remove spark plugs on a cold engine , yet you should do the compression test on a warm one .
Hows that supposed to work ? A lot of inconsistent approaches to getting an accurate reading.

Well i know its an old thread but didnt see the point of making a new one
well did my compression test and my cylinders where around the 135psi range im sitting at 75k miles what you guys think of those numbers?

Where did u get compression tester? Make sure u put charger on car before u do it, make sure it's on jumpstart mode, so all cylinders get same power when cranking, take out spark plugs in all cylinders when doing test. Let it crank like 4-8 times to make sure u get full reading. If u have a cheap tester it will probably read low, mine wS 12 bucks off eBay for a kit. It reads way low which was confirmed by Gm dealer when they did one on my car, I get 135 on all cylinders with my tester, reads about 30 psi low so I'm about 160. If ur reading low across all cylinders it's possibly the tester or the way u did it.

Well i used the tester from school if i remember correctly its a snap on and the only thing i didnt do was remove all the plugs at once. Did one at a time and didnt use a charger might try it again some time
I would be worried if your numbers were below 100 and/or more than 10% of eachother.
