I dont think anyone will be able to decipher all 16 numbers, the expiration date... and its a debit card, so even if you do figure it out... good luck spending the 2.16 that in that account

Maybe springs, but no porting... not trying to re-engineer direct injection

Well it looks like I was wrong in my theories on proting the head on an LNF so how much PSI will the new pistons / rings hold ?

thank god, finally a good thread. Not a, "Hey I have $300 to spend, what should I buy"? or, "What downpipe is best"? Good luck with the build man. things going to be a beast for sure. You're definitely heading in a very good direction.

i got a question, what u gotta do to the block to put in the new pistons and rods? u have to hown (spelling) it out or do u just put the new ones in? and how much does all that cost?

honing depends on the size of piston he has, normal is .10 or 1/10th of the bore of the cylinder. its basically to restart/refurbish where the pistons sit.

the original pistons made a groove, and now that groove needs to restart.

if he wants bigger, .2 or .3 im sure he has to re-sleave the block.

(ive never looked into rebuilding the lsj, or lnf, this is all speculation)

the rods have to be balanced. that means that each piston and rod weighs a little different and they have to be balanced to flow perfectly together otherwise you have a rough idle motor and its just not good in the long run.

most honing costs aroudn 200 dollars. new sleave install will probably cost a little more.

As far as machining, i have no idea what the tolerances are. The guy that built my brothers supra motor the second time is building my motor, and that car is pushing 900+ to the wheels and doing 213 in the standing mile, so i have faith that he knows what he is doing, but im hoping not to resleeve.
