Post lnf fouling plugs and fuel in oil

hello guys was wondering if anyone could point me in a direction to start looking for my issue. i bought the car not running owner said it started smoking and fouling spark plugs so he drove it home and has been park since. after looking over the car i have found fuel in the oil and all spark plugs have fuel on them also if you crank it over you get about 3 sec of it running and can smell fuel out the exhaust. where is a good place to start looking p.s will have code reader tonight to check codes if any.

Compression test, I'm going to assume there is a dead cylinder or a destroyed injector seal.

Compression check is good, it could also be the fuel pump is leaking fuel into the oil. We see those on the equinox di 2.4 usually. Will cause really bad running conditions and fouled plugs. If ran long enough with diluted oil your rings will wash.

I second that, the direct injection fuel pump went south. Zzp performance sells them at a decent price
