car REFUSES to start...ideas?
Its about 20 degrees out and the car hasn't been driven for a couple weeks now. But it turns over and thats all. It won't even attempt to fire. I can hear my fuel pump working, I can't think of what is wrong. I've been trying to start it off and on for a couple hours now. Its being a ***** to me today, I need to get it to run cause I have an appointment for an oil change in 3 hours.
Any ideas on what the hell the problem is?

awesome info.. thats the first thing always. i would try a jump, ur battery may have lost juice and now its not kicking, or ur starter is out.. check the plugs n wires too make sure they havent shifted
make sure your fuel injector relay is in its right place and is solid and working, i accidentally bumped against the fuel injector relay when i was working on my car and it would turn over, but not start. (paid $80 for a dealer to plug it in for me cause i'm an idiot). Its probably a more basic issue but I hope this helps if you cant find the problem.
my friend's GMC truck fuel relay actually went bad this summer too causing the same issue again

If you hold your gas pedal to the floor it shuts the fuel injectors off when your trying to crank. If you fuel injectors leaked into the cylinder than this should get it to start up. Again this is if you flooded the motor.
Ever think that you could have fuel line freeze up? Its under 32 degrees, been sitting for a while so the water has had a chance to move to the bottom of the tank (water is heiver than gas) and then froze.
If the car turns over, and thats it, this is the most likely. What are the odds that there is no spark on a brand new car?
The same thing happened to a Grand Am I used to have. Once had it towed to a garage and warmed above freezing, fired right up.

Are you running one step colder plug's by chance ? If so, maybe the stockers are a good idea for winter .
