LNF fuel system

From what I've read, Even with turbo upgrades, the Lnf tops out at about 400whp because of the fuel system. I was wondering if anyone was working on a fix for this or if there will be any kind of fix ever released. With the discontinuation(sp?) of the cobalt and pontaic being phased out, like the solstice, I just was wondering if anyone knows whether or not they will come out with any kind of upgrade. Im jsut looking into the future of turbo upgrades but I would only seriously consider it if theere was a fuel system fix. So does anyone have any info?

hahn and clear image are both looking into it... im sure synapseturbo, dejon, and others will be 2... i mean lnf is the future of cobalts companies have nothing else to do but figure it out! just takes time

and i believe the truth is key word BELIEVE is the problem is not as big as ppl may think... there are some tables on hptuners that have not been released that may help or fix the fueling problem all together

I'll find the company that makes upgraded fuel pumps for the Mazdaspeed cars that use DI.

http://www.cp-e.com/

Someone talk to these guys. This is how the Mazdaspeed guys got past there fuel limitations.

can't remember if it was the pump or the injectors i thought it had plenty of fuel pressure but the injectors couldn't push out enough fuel, but like stated above there are still areas of the ecm that need to be unlocked

The possibility also exists that GM's new DI 2.4 will use a similar system... and that motor will be around for a little while at least.

Highly unlikely it's the injectors. The pump on Mazdaspeed's was limited at 400 hp....

People should start messaging them. I'm sure they'd be more then happy to make parts for another car.

The MS3 and MS6 stock pumps (MZR engine) make much less pressure than the LNF, that upgraded pump gets them in the range of the LNF.
There is absolute maximum pressure dump on the MZR engine, and I would assume that to be true of the LNF. I have not read enough about the LNF to find that information, but getting more pressure into the system may take more than just a different lobe on the high pressure pump.

When HP Tuners unlocks more of the fueling tables and max delta airflow tables there will be way more power on the stock injectors.

What are you talking about? You cannot make a statement like that without at least giving me a hint.

Yup fuel pressure control is what we need, the injectors/pump are capable of much higher pressure than stock.

Maybe up to 2800 psi which should be good for up to 500 whp no problem.
