I Think im not getting all the options on the version of HPT i have on my $hitty lap top. for example can someone tell me how to change the rev limiter on the lnf? i cant find it any where.

 

Engine > Fuel > Cutoff, DFCO

There's a few tables u can change.

 

can you get histograms to work on the lnf? id like to build one for timing.

 

Go into the histogram in the scanner and just insert the timing table. Its already made for u, just gotta assign it the table basically.

 

Most hystograms, especially in the case of the lnf, are all going to need to be custom made. I personally use no less than 10 hysto's for my lnf scanner config, so yes, they work. You can even use the hpt scanner for just about any obd2 vehicle, no matter the make. You will only be able to SAE pid's though.
