LNF internals in an LHU?

I have a Buick verano with a 2.0 LHU and one of the cylinders has low compression, and from what I heard a common way for LHUs to fail is the piston rings going bad. ZZP says that the LNF has stronger internals while the LHU has a stronger block, so would I be able to throw in LNF pistons and rods with no issues?

Yes, but I don't know about all internals. I know pistons and rods from the LNF and LDK are 100% drop in for the LHU. ZZP even sells them. The ones ZZP sells are LDK rods which are said to be weaker than LNF rods.
