lnf low boost help

lnf low boost help

i just got my car started from a bent valve... everything seems to be working perfectly it just seems a bit slower.. and i only hit 7 psi.... i only have a p0342 code but cant figure it out... i checked for boost leaks... but i will check again as soon as i have time... any help is appreciated thanks

Camshaft position sensor is either dirty or broken, according to the code this could be your starting point.

could this cause the low boost? or is this completely different issue?

ugghhh

Low boost doesn't necessarily mean you have a boost leak or there is something wrong with your turbo. There are a multitude of DTCs that will limit boost to protect the engine.
