lnf low boost help

I put back my lnf head and I only.boost.7psI and.sometimes.has hard starts... I get p0342 and p0117 codes..

Is there a way to reset cam.sensors or are they f**ked? I cant get my car to read them and can that cause low boost... I have no boost leaks by the way

Apparently, these cars are very hard to time correctly. PM nfamous and ask him if your issues sound similar to some of his old issues.

you need a service tool and do it right. set the bottom crank key dimple at 5 o clock and set the cam gears with the tool in place, then position the colored links and install the chain on the inlet cam gear first, then to the crank gear and then to the exhaust gear. as you put the chain onto the exhaust gear the crank gear will move to tdc at the keyway. install timing chain tensioner, remove service tool, you are done ( that part of it)

I followed the instructions from the dealer but.might of skipped a.tooth cause of.the tensioner... I doubt it though car sounds fine and doesnt idle

two things. If its really plugged it wont boost higher it will go into limp home (8 psi) but if he has codes for cam actuator solenoids, which he does, he has the cams timed wrong, it will run fine it will idle great it just wont go fast as it has that cel.

re time. is all. and ifyou did not use the service tool its not right. My .02 c

this is a stupid price for the tool, but it is what you need to install timing chains correctly. Its almost impossible for an unlicensed/untrained/non tech to time the vvt without it.
