LNF in-tank Fuel Pump Upgrade

I'm looking at this ad in the classifieds section and there's one question i need answered before making a purchase:

Will this pump out-flow the factory in-tank pump on a 2008 cobalt ss?

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show....php?p=4734386

I've tried searching, and i literally can't find dick that will help me out.
If anyone knows the specs or the factory in tank pump, please let me know.

Thanks!

the in tank pump doesnt need a upgrade...i mean what are you planning on doing to your car? Theres no flow issues on the stock in-tank pump. The cam driven pump up in the engine bay is the one that is tweaked to get more power.

That didn't answer my question.

But to answer yours, i'm going over 400whp.

well trying to get background info is helpful.
1. how are you going to make over 400whp
2. even if the in-tank pump flows more that wont help if the cam driven pump cant inject all that in. it would be a worthless upgrade. I dont even think zzp (good question, anyone know?) used a upgraded intank pump when they hit over 500whp on the dyno.

I appreciate the attempt to dig deeper to provide me with better feed back, but i just need to know if it will achieve constant higher fuel flow than the factory pump.

I believe i've already found my answer though, sources saying the 255lph is capable of supporting 750crank hp on some cars at 17.5 volts.

I'd also like to know if zzp made any changed to the in-tank pump in addition to tuning changes made to raise fuel pressure.

Well you can always find an aftermarket pump to outflow another pump.

Like I said, I dont think you'll max out the stock pump.

I checked zzp's thread and they did not mention using a upgraded intake pump. Like I said that isnt the "bottle neck" of these cars. Its the exact same in the mzr 2.3l disi world. the cam driven pump and those still locked fuel tables are the main hold back.

That is the answer to your question. upgrading the intank pump is NOT what you need to do The only person who can help you with fueling is Vince From Trifecta. He's unlocked the fuel tables which is what you will need to hit the 400 mark. Accept the facts or deny them and waist money on a pump that is 100% unecessary. It's up to you!

you wont max out the stock pump until after 500. zzp just adjusted fuel pressure with no pump or rail size increase. if you have ever seen the fuel rail on these lnf cars you know its a rail from hell. im running a bigger turbo then you are and i havent seen the need for an upgraded pump yet.

Based on the fuel system configuration, the in-tank pump will support over 600whp.

Old post but ya, I'm at 680whp with E35 and I still haven't maxed out the stock pump. There is no reason to put anything else in for 99.9% of people
