they snuck those in there. the only thing i can think is its an option for resurfacing the flywheel. hopefully someone who knows more can shed some light.

Not sure what that would be used for, I have never seen it or heard of anyone using it, we already over throw the bearing so maybe that helps to not stress the bearing as much.

That's what I would think, but I have a few questions:

does the tob seal need to sit on the flat of the bell housing? This is wide open so seems like you'd either not gain anything or create new problems.

What's the thickness? Is it meant to be milled to the correct thickness? This looks like it's at least 10 mills and that's a lot to correct for on a resurface job.

That being said, if that's the intention I'm glad they're working on it considering how much the cost of the flywheel skyrocketed.

You shouldn't be milling or resurfacing the oem flywheel. The tolerences are so minimal that it's going to end up being junk and a spacer is not the answer in my opinion.

Spacers are generally used to help with engagment. Like spec clutch flywheel combos for the kappas need a spacer

Reason why I'm asking this because I kept seeing guys installed ky stage 3 clutch and clutch release point is very higher than it used to. Most of them complaint that it's much difficult to drive when ky stage 3 clutch point release is high. I just thought if somebody use this to solve the problems.

i see your point but i highly doubt all the people that installed a ky clutch resurfaced the flywheel as well and would need to install the spacer
