I don't think its available yet. They were going to offer the increased clearance intercooler as an option and charge more for it compared to the regular ZZP intercooler.

I'm lowered on Stance coilovers with the "larger" ZZP IC and I don't have any problems with it.

In my opinion it doesn't, but people complained so they made a smaller version.

From the pictures I have seen of it, the intercooler hangs no lower than my MPx. I'll let you know when I install mine. I am currently waiting on a new silicone coupler.

Edit: after looking again its lower but its a very small difference. Maybe half an inch lower.

We should have our increased clearance option intercoolers in stock in 6-8 weeks.

Someone started a rumor that the ZZP IC hangs too low and will scrape. Then all kinds of people said 'I don't want to take chances because my car is lowered' and it spread like a virus. Even a warranty guarantee couldn't detract some from being afraid, so they bought other units. Some of those units have end tanks that crack so people ended up having a broken unit by trying to buy one that wouldn't where they could have bought ours and not had worries.

Truth is that we have sold hundreds and have not had a single instance of an IC getting damaged on any car. The ZZP unit outperforms anything on the market and isn't covered by the bumper support rendering it's performance lower. But because rumors are persistent, we had another made that sits like an inch higher so people can sleep better at night.

Any group buys for this, soon? I want the original one. Should be getting my tax return.

What will happen is your intake temps will stay cooler and allow you to run a more aggressive tune without experiencing engine spark knock as easily. Spark knock is bad but at the moment ZZP's is the largest intercooler core size available that isn't blocked by the bumper support.

Ask and ye shall receive:

I am at stock height and have never scraped. My wife, on the other hand, had to borrow my car and managed to scrape it in just one day, while leaving a parking garage on a steep decline. No damage, though. It's a tough piece. I did my research and found flaws with every other brand of IC. If you would like me to list them, just ask. ZZP is the best IC on the market, hands down.

I'll hear your negatives...I was going to go with Treadstone, but don't like the BOV block off plate you have to buy.

Prolly gonna go with the ZZP Kit, I like how zzp and treadstone hard pipe kits are black so thats less exspense to get them coated, not a fan of the bare aluminum/polished pipes...
