low boost

low boost

hey guys,

a few days ago i noticed i was only getting about 13-14 psi on my low boost setting....then it drops off to any where from 9-12.

is this normal? i have checked for boost leaks and found nothing.

i am byt tuned with a catted dp and charge piping...stock intake

it was a little more humid when it first started so i blamed that. Yesterday it was not really humid at all...kind of cooler out and still same issue

humidity is sometimes my problem, but if thats not an issue i'd say it either have to be a slight leak somewhere or the tune. Get a hold of BYT...

When you say you have checked for boost leaks, what do you mean exactly? Visual checks don't get you much. You need to do an actual boost leak test.

I was told some where, I can't remember where...but if you spray something like carb cleaner on vacuum connections and your car "stubbles" a little bit then you have a leak there. I don't know if this is true or not...
