check the CEL to see exactly what error it is. Don't assume its the expected error cel. Maybe theres an exhaust leak? or a leak in the IC (cracked end tank), loose boost tube? Check the cel and see what it says.

No i did not. stock it boosted 15 psi and then with dp like 13. You very well might have something else going on besides this. From what I have heard boosting at 6psi is the ecu going into limp mode due to various reasons, hard to speculate until you find out what the code is.

I'm no expert but it might be because you're running on a stock tune??

Usually the code associated with the dp won't cause limp mode... Mine didn't. It could be something completely unrelated.

Nothing is wrong with your car...

Learn-Down!

I just looked at your location it's approx 0c... + you just added in a downpipe.. which is suppose to make a decent amount of hp

It sounds to me like it's just learn down in action...

Colder Air = More Power = Learn Down = Less Boost
Catless Downpipe = More Power = Learn Down = Less Boost

But still check the cel...

Edit: Stock you should be able to boost alot higher than 13psi.. "did you just get this car in the colder months"

could be because of the weather too. My car seems to boost slightly lower then 13. It kinda happened when i put my catless on too.

hey guys i got the code this morning found the code reader and here it is

P2187 "system too lean at idle speed" (bank1) <---only code that came up

DTC

catalyst mon - inc
evap system - inc
oxygen sensor- mon inc

like i said its really cold here in pittsburgh, i got the car back in october during 40 55 degree weather and it normally boosted like 13 14 psi maybe it is the cold weather. the car picks up good but just wont boost any higher that 6psi

thanks

evap shouldnt be coming up...

you should only be getting a catalyst efficiency code

disconnect your battery for 20 mins then try again, should learn it... you may have jut thrown the fuel trims off a bit

You have a leak somewhere. 2187 lean off idle normally means a vac/boost leak.

get a can or carb/throttle cleaner, spray around hoses and connections, when rpms go up... you have found your leak

You just reset the ECU and it hasn't had a chance to learn down yet. Good to hear that it's working normal again.
