you probably put the MAP sensor in the wrong direction, flip it around

looking down at it from the top of the engine bay, the plug should be facing towards the rear

Since its a pressure sensor, orientation doesn't matter.
Are you still on the stock intake? I think i've seen that cel on some solstice's before, but that's after they got an intake that was sized incorrectly around the maf or moved its location farther from the filter.

I think it is 100% all in the tune you have. Anyone who has either the stock tune, or the Hahn tune, does not have this issue?

It's not Stevo's tune.... I put that same tune in a buddies car... and got no such code!

And NO he doesn't need HAHNs tune... give it some time it will relearn any issues you have! We put a short ram on a buddies car, through that code eventually went away!

I'm the other car with the codes and we have access to HP Tuners and dropped the stock tune on my car and it still tossed the code. I'm going to be pulling the cold side off to take a look and make sure every thing is still on good.

OK, I pulled the cold side off last night and the sensor on it (I'm guessing that is the MAP from post on this) was on good and looked fine. I put it back on and still have the code. (I did flip it back around just in case)

One question I have that I hope someone can help me with is when I read the MAP KPA with my Interceptor Gauge it just gives me a 0. Also when we looked at it with HP Tuners the other night it did the same thing. Could the sensor go out on both of us? or dose that sensor not show you anything? Still new at the whole tuning world.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Stock Tune atm (1200 miles lol) and installed the charge piping once received w/ no issues. I'm going to go w/ his tune.

Waiting for GM tune or going w/ Hahn (since I can put it back to stock for dealer visits)

Go back to the stock cold side pipe, if you still get the cel then the sensor is gone.

Its the MAP sensor, not the MAF. There is no direction on a pressure sensor. Only the Mass Air Flow sensor. His code is the Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor.

Check your wiring - make sure some wire didn't get pulled loose when you were installing the piping. You should be getting some sort of reading from that sensor!

Ok, after a good bit of research I have found that the LNF has a TMAP (on the cold side pipe) and a MAP (on the intake manifold). I know the TMAP has to be the IAT2 temp reading but I’m not sure what it also reads. Any one knows if one or the other has a problem if they both would cause the same code? I’m try to narrow this down and it’s just getting bigger lol.

If it is the MAP sensor that you talk of that is on the intake manifold, but i have had another cobalt come into the shop with the same codes, the sensor was bad, you might start to notice a slight misifre.
