Personally, if your car sounds as bad as the one in the video, it ain't your plugs. For your sake, I hope it is tho.

Eh, even if it is seals, it should only cost him around $100 and I'd sell him my injector tool cheap if he really needed it.

Yeah that's kinda what I was hinting at.

Take pics Kbbalt. Also, Golf R should be no problem.

I'll snap some photos

Meanwhile, I contacted bfross, the guy with the vid and he figured his problem out

"Yes I did actually. Turns out I had a boost leak on the vac line going from the boost controller to the wastegate"

We dont have boost controllers... So maybe some kind of Vaccuum Leak? I need a diagram...

He has a Treadstone turbo kit. And we do have a boost control solenoid located on the stock turbo.

i had crazy blowout and my car sounded pretty bad.. not as bad as that video but definitely like a gun shot. turned out I was missing a good portion of the diode on cyl 4's spark plug and all the plugs opened up to like .45+

I would also check the gap. It sounds like spark blow out. I gapped mine from .35 - .32 to see what the best fit was and I'm at .32. Not all cars are the same. I thought .35 was fine until I got more boost.

so, if the seals were going then the car would idle rough or high?
At wot, my car did this tonight in high rpms or right after i shifted, loss of power/misfire... so it may be the plugs? they only have like 5k miles on them"

last time i had misfires, it was my purge solenoid that went bad. i could completely blow through it..that was only 1k miles ago
