Here we go again with another: Makes more whp but the car accels slower thing LOL! I plan on going to a dyno soon and running both lambda's just to see how it stacks up.

The .83? Ill adjust your tune for it if you want to try it? I dont plan on going to the track til I fix my tranny (which should be soon, just been too busy). We will need to adjust the MAF trims a lil bit for it but easily doable by the weekend. Lemme know

Prolly won't go this weekend because we are just finally going to get the cam done Friday. I guess it will all depend on the meth, not sure were the good airfuel for that will be. Are you taking the car in for warranty or ?

Yea, I need to swap the DP and throw the stock airbox on. Then Ill drop it off.

For the Meth I would run leaner then .83! I thought you were saying you just wanted to try that Lambda to see how your traps are effected.

Custom baby. No I am just playing, I had the roller break again, and it was on the same one as before so they said it must be the cam. So I get a new cam, rollers, and lifters.

Your not going to have any wear issues with methanol injection

got my DevilsOwn kit fully installed today. Nothing but problems lol not anything to do with The company just my lack of knowledge when ordering. I have to large of nozzles and when i try accelerate hard it starts to break up and wants to stall. But if i stay out of boost and slowly accelerate its ok.

p.s. ByT i will be visiting you shortly! Once my zzp inter cooler is here and i get the right sized nozle for the meth that is.

Gunney where in NY are you? do you have a progressive controller? if so whats the on set boost and full boost set at? what size nozzle? basically it could be too large of a nozzle or initiating water/meth too low in the RPM and/or boost.

1)olean area.
2)i have the 3bar controller and a Question for you what map sensor wire did you tap for your controler?
3)I have it set to come on at 10 psi but it seems to start before that and cause throttle cut.
4)If i just leave it in a gear and slowly wind it out the rpm's without touching boost its fine, but if i just go like 1/2 throttle or touch boost it starts to choke

1.) im east of you Saratoga Springs area
2.) my kit has an internal MAP sensor, so it uses a vacuum tube not a electrical wire. I don't remember if its supposed to be green or gray, PM "FF_ace", he knows for sure
3.) when i had it on the dyno, the motor wasn't liking meth below 13psi with a 4gph nozzle @220psi.
4.) possible boost leak causing whacky A/F, do you no if you can reach full boost? might need to take it to a shop for a pressure test of all your charge pipes if nothing else.

not a boost leak, cause the day before i was playing with it and it ran fine. ( the day i instaled plumbing)

I have stg1 map sensors so they are all white haha

I dotn under stand if i have the controller set to start at 10 psi, why is it giving me a problem at 0 boost?

what size nozzel do you have? i have a 5gph nozzel.

i have the same controller as you, you want to tap into the lime green wire on the map sensor *not the grey wire cause it shows 5v so your pump will kick on when the key is on found out the hard way.

and for hiltu when do you have your meth start to kick in and when is it 100% cause i was told to set mine at 25% boost which is 6 psi and 100% at 15psi

I have the D05 (5gph) installed, i also did the constat 5v at first lol and changed to what i thought was the proper wire? Still not sure.

With the stg 1 sensor they are all grey/white

i m set at 10 start and 15 max but it still breaks up at any throttle if you dont baby it.

mine starts at about 13PSI and full flow at 25PSI. Mind you im boosting 27PSI.

gunney, did you install a check valve or solenoid valve in line? you could be syphoning it in during vacuum conditions...

Here is my setup: i have the nozzle mounting adapter put in my silicone coupler off the intercooler/cold side piping. With the D05 nozzle in the 90 degree elbow and then attached to that is my check vale with the quick connect for the hose. which is run down my fuel line into my trunk and attached to the 2.5 gallon tank and 250 psi pump (set at 150 at the moment)
