When I started off with a 7gph it didn't behave well at mid boost, like moderate acceleration for a few seconds. I went down to a 4gph nozzle, everything was much better. That was with a legacy gt with an sti manifold and modified turbo pushing about 330whp.

I had to step up to a 6gph when I went to a bigger turbo, Garret 3076 based. I never did like the 12-18psi characteristics of the meth system with that nozzle though. It's amazing what you find out with an actual flow meter hooked up to your meth system.

I wouldn't run any smaller than what Hiltu is running. It's too easy to starve the pump in turns if it gets any smaller.

Hiltu, I dunno how you get away with such an itty bitty reservoir :-) Since I had at one point planned on tracking my previous car, with WI, I had 2 one gallon reservoirs hooked up together.

If I was doing a front mount pump, I'd just feed off the windshield wiper reservoir. Taller is better, and just fill it with 50/50. It's easy to get that mix. Just put in cheap no frills -20F wiper fluid that doesn't soap when you shake (35% methanol, there should be a label about %35 VOC) and add 3 bottles of yellow HEET.
No flowmeter, my boost/meth characteristics in mid boost were fine with the 4GPH nozzle, using a progressive controller. On the dyno starting meth before 12PSI would hurt power down low. Once it was tweaked at about 12psi starting boost, it was perfect. If you look at the picture, my low level sensor is roughly in the middle, if not higher, on the tank. Therefore when my tank is still greater than half full, my low level light blinks. And with all that said i still only fill up every couple of weeks. 4 gallons of water/meth lasted me 3/4 of a year. Also when i got tuned for water/meth, we did over 35 pulls (bald turbo freak), it took about 8 hours to get that many down and only so i could get home "safely" did i add more water/meth to my tank
i understand the concept of pump head for the pump which is why the tank is as high as possible with the pump being below the passenger headlight.

it's prolly not a good thing to up it anymore. But it does allow for more timing without getting knock because it basically make your fuel like 100plus octaine depending on the water/meth mix. And it's a good cooling agent because the water.

Yes, Meth makes it safer to up the boost due to its cooling effect on combustion temps.

i think i read somewhere about people being on the bandwagon for using meth.... your way off there pal...

AIS will hook it up with meth parts. Easily the best customer service and they have everything you need.

for those of you who mounted there kits in the trunk...how did you run there hoses? Pics would be great, but if not and you can explain it that would be great. My 1 gallon tank def ain't gunna fit in the LNF engine bay anywhere so I'm goin with the trunk. I'm like in the middle of the project and just lookin to see what everyone else is doin. Thanks.

STRAIGHT FROM DEVILSOWN:
you will want to mount that in the right rear corner of your trunk. Then wrap the tubing to the left and run it down in the back corner. Be sure to put some bushing between the sheet metal and the tubing. Then just run the tubing under the car till the engine bay. Then just run it up to the charge pipe and drill a hole in the rubber coupler and attach the nozzle to it. Be sure to put a dab of lock tite on the nozzle mounting adapter.

I am going to run the line through the interior. They said as long as you have no leaks it will be fine.

yea I have the tank mounted in the rear right hand corner of my trunk and I was gunna drill out a hole and runnin it under, I was curious exactly what route people were taking with the lines. Were they following fuel lines, brake lines...what? you know what I mean. I appreciate the reply back Gunney

i mounted the tank on the left side, mounted the pump down by the spare tire drilled a hole and ran the line along the gas lines.

**** if you guys have a controller without a boost pressure port the green line from the controller will tap into the lime green wire on the map sensor not the grey line like i was told by devilsown thats for the LSJ's.

i will post some pics of my install later my comp at home is acting up

Always was afraid to do that but it really will prolly be fine!!

The couple cars I did followed the fuel lines to the front and on Oscar's car we used the Washer Reservoir and mounted the pump inside the bumper.

I was tempted to put the pump there but the tank for the trunk has a spot for it to sit it. And the guy at cooling mist said that it will be fin running through the car, and just use one of the already there rubber gromets. I am just waiting for a cool day lol. 96 here today.
