meth?
FF_ace's car needs that meth in a bad way. His car knocks on less than stock timing and 0.87 PE lambda (I have tried it as rich as 0.85 PE lambda with no change in KR observed). I had him add some 100 unleaded just to confirm the knock was real because it is unbelievable. I have never seen an LNF knock on less than stock timing and 91 octane and his fuel trims are almost perfect. Oh well the meth should make for some big gains. I just wish I could be there in person to tune it. Email tunes are always a little harder.
I recommend running a 50/50 mix at most for all untunned applications. Also if not going to tune for the mix you also need to usually run a smaler nozzle than what you able to run once its tunned in. You need to tune for 100% methanol you can limp around a tune by running a small nozzle but your not going to get the cooling you need to show gains.
We just installed meth on Oscar's car and ran the same tune (timing, afr and boost) but adjusted the trims to get the afr/trims back in line obviously. The car made 343/424 with a 60% meth 40% water solution. 17* peak timing, .88lambda and 24psi. I know there's more in in too, haven't even leaned on it hard yet!
question!!!
ok so lets say i get a meth kit... using the windshield whipper fluid...
would i need to have 2 tunes??? 1 for meth use and the ontherone for normal "daily driving" tune?
also where could i get meth... what brand is the best to get?

You dont need two tunes because the meth is only activated when you either hit a certain boost level, rpm, maf signal and so on. So it will always be on tap for when you hit the gas, and while your just cruising it is off.
I just ordered a kit. Mine is a trunk mount kit. http://www.coolingmist.com/detailmain.aspx?pid=VC2FS
I am using the snow performance stage 2 kit with the safeinjection. Here are a couple of things I have found....
1.) Good idea to actually get this installed by someone who knows what they are doing. The directions I received are for a volkswagon
2.) Get the safeinjection
3.) You will probably have to by the upgraded solenoid... it doesn't really point this out on the website - but you find it is warranted when you read the directions
4.) Resevoir placement - still have to figure this one out. There really isn't a good place to put one under the hood... right now we are looking at usplastics.com to see about getting an alternative tank
5.) Don't scrimp on fluid... we found a lot of veriability in windshield washer fluid. If you are paying the money to put this kit in - make sure that you can afford the fluid for it as well. Snow performance sells boost juice which is a 49/51% mix. Most of your cost for fluid will be in the s/h fee since it is a haz transport item.
As for your maps... Vince (trifecta) can tune for meth. Once I finish up he is going to upgrade both my conservative and aggressive tunes. I am also installing the KO4+, upgraded intercooler, and K&N intake so it should be interesting to see how everything works out. Unfortunately I won't have a good handle on what the meth alone attributes since I am changing so much at once...
Oh, once last thing - not sure if this is true or not - but I have heard that for rear mounted kits you may have to install a second pump...

hehe,
with out kits we supply a check valve so you don't need to order a solenoid. I don't think its right to send a kit out to someone knowing they will need something else to make it work right in there car. Evey car must have a solenoid or a check valve.
tanks usually have to be mounted in the trunk. I know most people that buy our kits tend to go for our new 2.5 gallon tank that has the sump and baffles built in. its the best tank on the market.

1qt. tank, big enough that i only fill up every few weeks. You can see my low level sensor. The 220 PSI pump is under my headlight, and the check valve leads from the pump to the 5GPH nozzle into my coldside charge pipe.

you keep referring to "we", what exactly is "we"???? and as far as your comment about people don't realize how little meth they need, through devils own calculator, it said to use a 4GPH nozzle, and yes thats rated at 150PSI, not 220PSI like my pump is. After running that for 3/4 of a year, i bumped in up 1GPH and have no negative side affects. Just waiting to hook up with BYT in person to get the pig tuned.

I had to step up to a 6gph when I went to a bigger turbo, Garret 3076 based. I never did like the 12-18psi characteristics of the meth system with that nozzle though. It's amazing what you find out with an actual flow meter hooked up to your meth system.
Hiltu, I dunno how you get away with such an itty bitty reservoir :-) Since I had at one point planned on tracking my previous car, with WI, I had 2 one gallon reservoirs hooked up together.
If I was doing a front mount pump, I'd just feed off the windshield wiper reservoir. Taller is better, and just fill it with 50/50. It's easy to get that mix. Just put in cheap no frills -20F wiper fluid that doesn't soap when you shake (35% methanol, there should be a label about %35 VOC) and add 3 bottles of yellow HEET.
