A quick google search found this post on a bio diesel site about CTC having a product in their paint department which contains Methyl Hydrate which is supposedly the same thing. Anybody elso heard of this?

what can i use to mix it? that i can find pretty easy?

 

I'm also in on a group buy. Looking at snow performance, devils own, aem, and ais. Really, I'm pretty open. Has anyone heard back from a vendor?

mixing it my self just seems like it would be a hassle to find all the stuff to get like 49% meth.... does anyone know of anyone that ships boost juice to canada? or actually has it in canada?

 

Are there any drag strips or circle tracks out east? In Ontario there are a few and they all seem to have the same race fuel supplier on-site who also sells pure methanol. I might go that way and mix it myself.

 

What's the deal with not getting boost juice into Canada?

 

I sent a couple emails to a couple of their ontario distributors but no response yet.

Boom you now have 2 gallons of Methanol Mix for your car

 

seen the methyl hydrate you talk about in canadian tire yesterday its only 10 bucks here and distilled water is like 5 so 15 bucks and i get 2 gallons. cant wait to run meth

 

I read that Denatured Alcohol works as well... is this true?

I could pick up a gallon from home depot and mix it with distilled water to get a 50/50 mix.

I have looked and shopped to death and i have decided to get the following from them:

2.5 bar stage 2 progressive kit
2.5 gallon sumped tank with float switch
solenoid upgrade
stainless line upgrade

 

I think most denatured alcohol is mostly Ethanol. Ethanol does not cool as well as Methanol does so while it *may* work, you would get better performance from a Methanol mix.

 

So far either no response from distributors or they said they do not carry boost juice. Read on OCC about Ontario Competition Fuels having 5 gallon drums of methanol. Looks like that will be the route for me.

Progressive kits are really the way to go.

 

Id have to agree here, wut ever kit you get make sure its progressive. I ended up purchasing the AEM kit from MPx, nice kit. Had the controller short out literally right after tuning the car for the meth But AEM sent me a new controller. Havent installed it yet tho, waiting on nice weather
