MPX Oil Catch Can Hook Up Help

I recently got ahold of an MPX Oil Catch can. I am wondering if someone can help me figure out where to hook it up too ? I want to hook it up to try and dampen the intake valve grude issue as much as possible. But... I have no idea where and which lines to hook it up too ? Does anyone have any good pictures of there s hooked up and where on the turbo to hook it up to on an 09 ss/tc.

Thanks !

U don't know what a crank case breather line is? One runs from valve cover to ur intake. The other goes from turbo to valve cover, pick one of those to, if u really wanna keep oil out, put a catch can on both lol

The correct one is the one going from your turbo to the valve cover NOT the one going to your intake. See the image shown in the forum below. It's the one highlighted in orange.

Why isn't it true? They both spray a little oil.

Thank You !! So I hooked my catch can up from the back of my valve cover. Into my catch can. Out of the catch can and into the front of the turbo housing where the original spot where it plugged into. Does that sound right ? It seems so straight forward I'm scared I'm putting it in the wrong spots and cause my engine or turbo to blow up !

If u put it in wrong spot ur engine won't blow up, Iv had mine in the other spot for the life of the car and it was just fine, half the people say one way, the other half say the other. The turbo one goes into the valve cover only, the intake one goes into a hole down inside the head somewhere, never looked where it goes

Just know the turbo one is a pita to get off the valve cover, u have to cut it off with rotary tool or dremel

Well , the other end of the catch can would have to go to the turbo ? Right ??

That's the wrong spot.

It needs to be on the other one. The one you hooked it up to has a check valve built into it, so it shouldn't be possible for oil to get through there, unless the angle of the tube into the intake is incorrect.

Also if you do it right, you don't have to dremel that thing off. You can use a zip tie bent into a -> "O" shape and squeez it in there (Powell's trick). I just used a flat head screw driver and bent the thing in a couple spots on the inside and it slid off with a little elbow grease.

Well here are a few pics of how I have it hooked up and where too. I didn't have to dremel anything off. And really , it was easy ! But , is it hooked up the right way ? This first pick shows where I hooked one of the lines into that bendy part in the front of the turbo.

This second one shows where I put it into the back of the valve cover on the passanger side.

And lastly , its all done. Except for putting on the four clamps.

So does it all look right ?
