lol, yes! i would have it no other way... i ran it for like.... 3-4 days hardcore before i got tuned... never had any problems, OR cel... i think ur doing it wrong... perhaps u installed the metal seal thing wrong?

does anyone know what the benefit is for relocating the maf?
just wondering because i ordered mines with the maf flange. so now i need 2 relocate it lol

I think your going to need an extension for the maf cables if you relocated it. Don't quote me on it though...

I Get a bit of surge with my hks under low boost also and I have never really figured out the issue

You can vent all you want without any issues, you do need get the maf tables modified in the ecm though either by Vince@trifecta or with hptuners.

never relocated the maf either...

all i did was slap the bov on the cp, then installed the cp, connected some vac lines and was donezo

okay, I'm trying to figure out the parts off first, because I'm thinkng about installing a HKS BOV or Synapse. I believe the main person who created this forum used the compressor bypass clamp from Dejon http://cobalt.dejonpowerhouse.com/ to get rid of the surge and the flutter, without the blockoff plate for the stock bov and had no issues.

This is my guess on the list of how his setup was
1.HKS BOV SQV3 $200
2.Compressor Bypas clamp 3.95
3.Dejon CP with BOV flange $300
4.Dejon CAI with recirculation tube $25

Correct me if I'm wrong. That's just a wild guess of how he might have set it up.

I don't think so. Do you just have the nipple blocked off now or did you T it off on the vac line? I think it pretty much does the same ****. Not sure though. I never ran it any other way.

I just tee'd into the vacuum line. Right now I have a CEL sayin my "bypass valve is stuck"
