Which cylinder is farthest away from the timing chain? I'm guessing it's number 4. The way the gen 3s are laid out that appears to be the weakest cylinder I would say just by looks.

The compressor map will be different with the .63 housing. It'll choke up for sure and never reach peak flow. I'm going to aim to get it working on pump gas first, make 500, and then up the boost. 600 or disappointment lol. I figure the block can take 700whp and 45psi with ease.

This was my gen 3 stuff that was going together but I sold it to buy cmiller8006's block. The guy who bought it is putting it together and this is his now. Boost isn't the issue it's detonation that kills these motors.

gotcha , I was just afraid of cracking/blowing open the sleeves in my gen3 block from running too high of boost. Thanks for the quick reply !

Towed the truck up north to get the kit fabbed up. It's gonna be a tight fit in the engine bay for this turbo lol.

Well ran into the first problems. There always are when doing a build
The motor i bought from cmiller8006 uses the ati damper. The sky redline's power steering runs off the stock damper on the car. I was talking to omiotek about this. Either i can run the stock pulley (I rev to 8k and have stage 3 lnf cams. I want the motor to last, stock damper is probably not a good idea) or i find some way to run the cobalt system. Or I run another aftermarket damper. Anyone have any thoughts and insight?
You would think I would have seen this coming
Cheers.

dude I told you it wont work due to the bcm and if you get any of the electrical wrong you will pop fuses left and right or the car will not start what so ever. Its a lot more complicated then you think and you will probably want to kill yourself trying to figure it out.
Call ati and they should be able to help you with a drive setup. most of that stuff is custom made. you should be able to get something that bolts up to the dampner itself. that's how the fluid dampner setup is.
they will make your anything you want
