My LNF rant...

So after looking over my mods I'm still a little frustrated/borred with my balt. exhaust is great, new inter-cooler and charge piping on the way, HP tuners standing by, Can't get rid o f that stupid knock even though my WOT timing is 9*, factory conti's still holding on along with the stock clutch....loving the tint even though many people think it should be darker....Looking into a progressive meth kit so I can get some timing back into it. then new clutch and tires..... I'm not in search of more power just looking to get a handle on what I have and stay steady here....

If it was tuned rich for a while it might be carboned up. I Seafoamed mine & killed all my KR on a 14* tune here at 25 psi boost. It was pretty rich on a different tune for a few thousand miles before I had HP Tuners.

If it's the one from the repository it states right in the description that you need to tune the MAF for starters. The timing is also quite a bit more then stock, while not as aggressive as what I run on my own car, some cars MAY not take it. Its not a canned tune...its a starting point

Edit: Just noticed his Dejon SRI.... You need to tune the MAF tables, guaranteed!

BYT plase do think I'm placing blame, I was just joking. I am running about 1/2 the tune from the web. I did the .88 and the cam timing, but not the spark tables just the stock maybe top 200 colum is lowered to 9*. I have been working the LTFT and go them down to less than 1% the short trims are all over and i can not get them to stop, 8+ tries..... Boost is holding at 20-21 all the way.

When you post: That's what BYT gave me

It doesn't sound like that to people that don't know

I read the whole post, thats how is sounded. Sorry.

.88 isnt even close to too rich, I believe he was kidding (I hope so at least).

You need to tune the car for that intake, guaranteed that's the issue. Read the thread on LTFT and STFT tuning and work on that. Reduce the timing 1-2* in the high load areas for right now and get your intake dialed in.

You're saying 12.7 A/F ratio at WOT on an LNF is perfect?

I sucked the Seafoam in through the vacuum fitting on the top of the intake manifold with a piece of 3/16"hose. Half that way, half in the tank.
