N2MB wot box help

Anyone with a Lnf, and a wot box installed, can share their settings? I installed mine using Dylan's good write up, and it's not seeming to work for launch control. Had the clutch voltage opposite and got that worked out, but it's still not wanting to take. I have the rpm set low on purpose for testing, but does everything else look right?

Turn off lockout rpm if you want, if you RPM is above it, it won't work.

Also your clutch is set to inverted which means it will only work with the clutch up. Not pressing on the pedal.

The voltage on the clutch is inverted, at least it is on mine. I have the lockout set for what was recommended.

Thank you, I will try that. I'm wondering if I'm just easing into it to slow and it's passing the 1500 mark to quick then it's locked out from working. I like the msd setup on the nova better because you don't have to stop the throttle and hope it takes. These cars rev pretty quick.

What do you mean "stop the throttle and hope it takes"? You are supposed slam the throttle wide open 100%... I had the issue of the two step not working on launch after burnout. No matter how fast I tried to go WOT it wouldn't work 75% of the time. I disabled the lockout and haven't had an issue since.

Yeah I meant to say "stomp" not "stop". I will try again after work as I'm wondering if I'm being a little slow on punching it, and it's getting above the 1500 lockout point so it's not taking. Hate to have to test this way because if it doesn't Engage you rev to 6,000 in a hurry. Visions of lifters breaking always dance in my head. As long as the unit has power there is nothing else to worry about?

Nope, As long as it's wired up correctly u should be fine. Your not being too slow when you punch it, trust me. Just turn off the rpm lockout all together, you don't need it on.

For 2step boosted launch, yes absolutely 100%. You can't build boost with factory launch control and its not adjustable unless you have trifecta tune. I disable the wot box NLS feature as you won't need it with LNF. The factory NLS feature works quite well.

I'm watching one for $150 now.

Can you disable OEM NLS and use the wot box?

Yes, but I don't really know why you would want too. Just my opinion. Factory is better from what I've seen unless you like a lot of popping and cracking coming from the exhaust.

From what I understand, you can not disable the factory NLS. It is active in all traction control modes. This is another reason I haven't tried the wot box NLS as I dont want to interrupt the already active factory ignition cut. I wish it was possible to disable it, because you can change the MS of the ignition cut with the n2mb NLS feature.

Dylan told me he uses the wot box setup shifting 1-2 and then I believe the factory setup from there, but I think he is cycling in and out of traction control to turn it on and off.

Even when you shut ESC off, the NLS still works so that cant be.

The first thing I do when I start my car is hold down the TC button for 10 seconds to shut off TC, Comp mode and ESC.

I'm pretty sure Dylan said that he and his brother raced, with similar mods, and the factory nls would surge ahead of the other who was running the wot box setup on every shift.
