I am in the process of doing some headwork on my LNF, I have measured the bore spacing and think it is 96mm, does anyone know if this is exact?

Bore spacing??? the bore on the LNF is 85.992-86.006mm or 3.3880-3.3887inch


And if your talking about vavle bores its Exhaust/intake 6.000-6.012mm or 0.2362-0.2367

If you go to the top page of the LNF Section and the top Sticky All the LNF Specs are there

 

bore spacing is the distance between the center of the bores, machine shops need this to hone blocks correctly

 

A good machine shop will have the ties to get that info. My guy uses a 5 axis cnc machine that you just bolt the block in and program the block and it does the rest.
