Need Help with my exhaust

I am planning on getting a dual exhaust for my TC, I have the body kit for it.

I have read around and I know people have different opinions about it.

But I have a couple of questions.

1. I have heard that there will be a loss of power. I would like to know if it is true or not. And if there is, would it be very significant?

2. Im gonna have to do it with a hi flow catted downpipe. But what about the rest? Im thinking 2 borla exhausts (or any other suggestions), would they have to be just mufflers? or catbacks?

Im open for any suggestions and ideas, I really need help and advise from those who know

Thanks..

cat back exhausts are refered to as "cat backs" because they include the piping after the catalytic converter. and most refer to direct bolt up exhausts as catbacks. your talking about a custom exhaust right? because as far as i know, there is no dual exhaust solution for the tc

an exhaust, especially after the cat will only yield little gains. id say with any exhaust that flows better than stock and is larger in diameter, gains will be yielded. but some think that the gains are less than say a 3 in single outlet. dont ask me why. i dont do duals because i dont like the look but if you want it, go for it!

If you plan to run a cat, it should be in the downpipe. The Y pipe should be after the downpipe . I'd stay with 2.25" or 2.5" pipe and mufflers after the Y. Tips can be whatever you want, but please don't make it look ricey. You can do whatever you want, but consider this strictly an appearance mod, no measurable gains over the crop of single exhaust systems available. Personally, I wouldn't bother.
