I made a thread on this awhile back with a cheap quick fix. It actually held together for me for several track days then failed finally again. Morad Parts sells salvage parts and can get you the linkage clamp pieces by themselves.

I occasionally have a goobered shift for no apparent reason... then yesterday I was cleaning the car and noticed alot of plastic "shavings" all over and around my shifter mechanism (under the boot)...
I looked at the link and didn't see anything aside from a whole shifter assembly;
if there is some kind of kid that upgrades a flaw in the factory setup, that I would be interested in, but I am not interested in an aftermarket shifter.
now I'm mildly concerned...
EDIT: nevermind;
even though I found no link on their site, or via the page linked earlier, I opened the video on the bottom of the SS/TC page in Youtube (instead of streamed to their page) - on that page is the link.
Wow... $100.

Is nothing cheap anymore?

I broke two linkage pieces before installing the TWM piece. Just pull the shift cable with your hand. You just have to pull slowly and you can feel it going into different gears. You should be able to get it into 4th gear with no problem.
