As far as the coils, I have my doubts that they're bad - if anything, you'd have 1 or 2 bad. I've never had a full set go bad at once - not that it can't happen. Another alternative is your alternator's output. If your alt is dying and its amp output is low, your coils won't be hitting their full voltage. Early LSJ turbo swap guys ran into this problem when swapping in 2.2L alternators because they had lower output. I'm just spit-balling and throwing out slim possibilities though; things to consider and that are easy enough to check.

EDIT: And blue_viper's O2 problem is valid too. Typically with a bad front O2 sensor, most cars will have a huge dip in mpg to go with it. Did yours have that Viper?
Yes I reported earlier about the MAF but maybe I said MAP by mistake. But yes I inspected it and it's clean as a whistle. The alternator thing. Maybe? I guess I'd have to get a volt test meter and check that right? I'm really thinking it's a coil. I mean I'm probably wrong. Bc I'm not getting a constant CEL. But it's just my feeling. I think I am going to replace the coils and do a test drive. And if not coils I'll replace the O2. Hopefully I can find the problem. Thanks you guys for all your answers and help. I will keep you guys posted on what I see tonight. Any suggestions or recommendations are appreciated. Thanks guys

It wasn't to bad, but I did notice that it was lower.

I think I've already sold them, but let me check my box of LNF junk for coilpacks. If I have them still, I'll send them to you.

I know I've got an engine harness still, but I'm pretty sure the coilpacks are gone.

Fixed and running great

So today I decided to go for the coils. I put them in and ran them with my stock air box. And wasn't having any problems and she was running great. So I put my CAI back on and the same thing. So I guess that was it. It was the coils. Sorry to waste all of your guys's time. It was just odd how it happened after the CAI was installed. And also I wasn't getting a CEL. But either way. All better now! Thanks everyone for your replies. And while I'm here. Any recommendations on tuning the car in the coming months?

This is always a tough question. Me personally I feel that buying HP Tuners is the best way to go. It is slightly expensive, but gives you the ability to choose any tuner you want, and you can upload the tunes yourself and datalog.

The simplest way to tune is to go through ZZP. You tell them your mods and they write you a tune. If you don't buy HPT they give you the option of buying an ECU from them, or you pay a core charge they send you an ECU to install and you send the old one back and they refund you.

Also there are some good tuners around. I'm sure some will chime in if you make a thread asking about tuning.

I'm local, but I def charge more than ZZP. I can also help load and log a zzp tune for a smaller fee
