You guys dont' get it...
This will be a NEW hood...
Number one, not airbox, k&N intake...
number two, we can add a drain, we have the technology. We can make it better...
Why would we make the bad stuff about it knowing it's bad...

I understand that it will be a new hood, sorry didn't make it sound like I was trying to discourage you. Relocating for the K&N intake won't be hard, the scoop will have to be raised a little though to get more air through. It will be made of carbon fiber, so lighter. There will have to be a drain for the water that is coming through the system.
It will look a little different then this hood though because the scoop will be raised. But if you can pull all this off I definitely say it would be a good investment, I might even consider it as a new hood some day in the future if you could pull it off.

I would much rather have a heat extractor which has a functional ram air scoop, BUT, it also has two more vents further up in the hood to let excess heat out of the engine bay.

Smart man! Good choice. How do you like it?

Its really nice, heat extractors are to the left and right of the turbo area and that helps heat escape, and it gives the K&N intake cool air. Of all my upgrades so far that was by far my favorite because it also gave it a unique look. Intake temps went down, engine bay is cooler, and I've always liked scoops on hoods. A lot of other guys on the forum hate the hood, but you know haters will be haters.
Wanting "ram air" on a boosted vehicle is GHEY
. "ram air" wont do anything for a boosted car except attemt to get cooler air into the motor. And if that is what you are trying to do, then the heat extractor hood will do it better!!

If it didn't have the round lights that say "I'm a ghey Subaru driver and I wear a pink shirt, pinch me in the ass and make my day" it wouldn't be bad looking. Just needs the lights filled in.

Nizzle, I bet Joe would like that bumper. He reminds me of a guy that would wear a pink shirt with the collar up.
Oh, Hi Joe. You're keeping your car?
