ok got a new motor in my tc finally, iv been driving it for a week, i notice the exhaust sounds louder when i boost, do u guys have a pretty loud exhaust? its not that much louder, sounds aftermarket. it sounds good, but why is it different now. and i only boost up to 14psi, but that could be the cold weather. power seems fine, and before when i shut the car off it kinda sounded like a jet engine winding down for like 4 seconds, now it doesnt do that anymore either. what changed that would make it sound different?

he had a defective LNF motor, new LNF put in

 

ya new lnf. man im wondering how meny tc or sc cobalts there are around where i live, i know there are 3 sc in town, but everyone stairs when i drive by, whats the deal with that, ud think they never seen one before.

That is normal the cars flushing the oil out of the turbo that is that "jet engine" noise

 

ya but its not makeing that sound anymore. it did it every time before i got the new motor, sounded pretty cool, now iv been listening for it and nothing, never does it anymore.

 

The supra motors are totally overrated. I couldnt even tell you how many I have seen blow up at the dragstrip. If you want a ridiculous hypothetical motor swap, drop in this, covert the car to RWD and call it a day.

I amlost made this dude with a 2jz swap toast his motor ....... I beat him btw ....TT 2jz swap - I talked to him again ..... Cool dude with a cheap but really fun car..... He said he spent like 5500 on it ... total ...
