New Treadstone Products for LNF

Just wanted to let the community know we are working on our MAF relocation pipe for our intercooler kit. This will relocate the MAF in the pipe connecting to the throttle body, with this option the user will be able run an atmospheric blow off valve with no tuning issues at all.

Also, we are now putting honeycomb maf straighteners in our cold air intakes and MAF relocation pipe. This will straighten the air leading towards the maf sensor in the pipe, making this the best air intake available for the LNF. Fuel trim readings will stabilize and the car will have a much better MAF curve., Idle will be perfect, and HP curve will be cleaned up.
We already ranked pretty good when our cold air intake was tested, now well be #1!

This honeycomb will also be used in the MAF relocation pipe as well.

testings have shown very small pressure drops, almost immeasurable, which will not affect performance what so ever.

These honeycomb material and screen material are used in many OEM applications to clean up MAF readings, and we feel these additions will be an added benefit for any turbo application that we come out with in the future.

Heck, maybe I should get one of these just to fix the issues with current intake solutions.

Quick! Someone log their new intake with one of these!

Also, is this an insert (which could be used on other intakes) pictured or an actual integrated piece of the intake?

Looks like that honeycomb is tack welded in place. I would assume its only available as part of the intake or MAF relocate pipe. I have a piece of honeycomb thats deep just like that at home. Its pre-cut to 3in and ready to be put in my intake. Just been too lazy to take it in to a shop to have it tacked in place inside the intake.

Sorry for the threadjack. Looks like a quality piece OP! Great work adding that straightener in there

We have the honeycombs in stock, only $20 each, 3" 3.5" and 4" sizes available, you just slide them in your pipe and wala! We have them pre cut to slide into aluminum pipe with .065" wall thickness. They just wedge in there. You can tack them, glue them, or braise them in if you want.
Ill put some pics up shortly

Guaranteed, this $20 option is a great fix for any intake or MAF pipe that has erratic readings!

Wow, that's a nice option to have. I'll have to measure my K&N SRI diameter.

Wow, this is awesome! Someone needs to get this and insert into the K&N intake and see how fuel trims work out! I would definitely get one of these if it helped the fuel trims settle down!

Hey Jason,

Are you offering an option to upgrade to the MAF relocation IC pipes instead of the standard pipes that the kit used to came with. I am interested in doing this if we can work something out. I still haven't installed them yet because winter has been hell so far. I'd be willing to send back the 2 old pipes if you could still use them.

PM me if you'd like.

Matt

HoneyComb MAF Mass Air Meter Airflow Straightener- TREADSTONE PERFORMANCE

HoneyComb MAF Mass Air Meter Airflow Straightener. These small additions to any cold air intake, turbo inlet pipe or anywhere a MAF sensor is located, will greatly improve the MAF readings "fuel trims" that the ECU sees. No more erratic MAF readings, fix lean or rich spikes, increase throttle response, fix idle, all of these can be improved with this $20 upgrade!
-Available in 3", 3.5" and 4" diameters.
-Slides right into pipe before MAF sensor
-Can be glued, braised, or epoxy'd in

Nice! Did it stabalize the MAF readings any better? I know the SRI causes some turbulence so it should have helped some.
