I'm wondering too.

What diameter honeycomb did you use and how did you secure it?

The CAI that they have isn't too bad in and of itself. I am HP tuned for it no so It's kind of pointless to put up a log, but off had, from what I remember it skews trims a bit less than most of the other intakes. The maf (when its in the intake) is in a pretty straight section of the pipe. It has like 8-10 inches of straight pipe before you hit the MAF so that is part of the reason for the decent trims. This will only help out more though.

Example of the MAF in the intake, good placement for decent STFT Its a thumbnail click for a bigger pic.

NOTE: If you guys want to run a atmophsere venting BOV, you must relocate the MAF to after the BOV in the intake path, most commonly in the lower CP. This must be tuned for, ortherwise it will read a huge amount of airflow (above 20,000 hz) and will throw mess with your timing. Term or BYT will be able to explain it better but its a quick adjustment and you are good to go.

HoneyComb MAF Mass Air Meter Airflow Straightener. These small additions to any cold air intake, turbo inlet pipe or anywhere a MAF sensor is located, will greatly improve the MAF readings "fuel trims" that the ECU sees. No more erratic MAF readings, fix lean or rich spikes, increase throttle response, fix idle, all of these can be improved with this $20 upgrade!
-Available in 3", 3.5" and 4" diameters.
-Slides right into pipe before MAF sensor
-Can be glued, braised, or epoxy'd in
The MAF is not too far where the air filter is in the front of the AEM CAI. I wonder how it would react to a tune MAF sensor reading at -2.9?
