NLS question

When you no lift shift are you suppose to be in competetive mode or just traction off. The reason I ask is I did it once with each and in 2nd gear it seemed like it might have done a little better in competetive mode but could just be in my head. Thanks

NLS can be done anytime as long as you are shifting near redline.

The reason it felt better in competitive mode is that it turns off the traction nanny

Wouldn't traction off completely remove traction control to tho. I did it with traction off and then in competetive mode.

There is traction control and electronic stability control. When you go into competitive mode and hold the button down for 10 sec it turns off the ESC. Which is really fun in the Sky btw.

competitive mode keeps ecs on, fyi... soooo best way to get the full "driver" experience as much as the pcm/bcm crap will allow is to hold the TC button for 10 seconds so it "disables" the TC and esc.

FYI...even ESC off doesn't put the Nanny to sleep. Wheelspin in third and above still closes the throttle with ESC off.
