No one compares to Dejon

ok, so i just ordered all my stuff about 1/2 hour ago, but i screwed some things up w/ the order. after paying for everything, i noticed my error, and immediately contacted dejon via e-mail... within EIGHT minutes, i got an email resolving the issue, getting everything squared away....

EIGHT MINUTES!!!! There customer support is phenomenal!!!! I've never seen any company respond that fast dejon=badass

I ordered my intercooler piping on monday and just tracked it and it should be at my house later today. The greddy bov has been getting lonely Real fast shipping and Dave even emailed me to let me know that they got shipped out. I will be most likely putting the pipes on Wednesday. Cant wait

is there any advantage to having a BOV, besides the noise? I mean either way its a good upgrade.

No, BOV's do not offer performance. But some people swear that it does. Kinda like after I wash and wax my car, it always feels faster afterwards. I know its not, but I swear it's got to be a 1/10th or so faster.

haha that would be 10% faster, which means you gain somewhere around 23 hp, give or take. I would wash and wax my car everyday if that was the case.

Imagine how much faster you would go with a fresh tank of gas and tinted windows! hahah

The only point for a BOV in these cars is for the sound really. Some people claim it hurts performance if anything. They say it can't recirculate and maintain boost for the No-Lift Shift feature, but the truth is if you shift fast enough you will still get the same outcome, the air just wont "blow-off" and you will maintain boost.

alot of factory bov's are prone to boost leak (made of cheap plastic). If you upgrade to a nice bov, it could prevent this, netting you some more power

you can also get a piston recirc valve too and not worry about codes. Forge motorsports makes some nice one.

I have drawn a conclusion from the car wash. Just washed it and guess what? Yep, its faster. See what it is, is that all the dirt and dust makes it less aerodynamic. Also if you add tire wet to ur tires it makes them more aerodynamic as well. This in effect causes your car to become faster. Dirty car=14 sec 1/4 mile. Clean car=13.9 1/4 mile. Clean car+tire wet=13.8. Belief of anything I said=MORON

And secondly regarding BOV, it can help with boost leak once you have achieved above factory boost settings, but a spring will also suffice. To whoosh or not to whoosh, that is the question.

Haha where I live, I get so much dirt on my car that it might actually weigh it down. Then again that would mean the car would be slower if:

A) I had a full stomach (or haven't taken a **** in a while).

B) I have too many text messages in my phone's inbox.

C) If I'm wearing a thong under my boxers that day. (Monday- Friday) lol jk

haha I might end up getting a BOV, but I am in no hurry.

Dont forget the BOV will add extra weight, thats got to cut your HP by like 10-12. On a serious note a full tank of gas will affect your speed. Coablt holds 12 gallons (I think) and 1 gallon weighs 8 lbs. so thats 96 extra lbs. add in a guy riding shotgun that weighs 154 lbs. and say you weigh 150 lbs. and WOW thats a staggering 400 lbs. over curb weight.
