No power and a flutter sound

I been having a flutter sound for about 2 months now it comes and goes randomly. When it is present i cant boost but 2-5 lbs. I ended up getting a CEL with code P2261 bypass valve stuck. So i got a forge bpv and the im still having the same problem, I've tried both the yellow and green springs didnt make a difference. The other day i was backing out of my driveway and it was acting like it wanted to stall. It smoothed out and I continued to go down my road. I then noticed the flutter sound came back once again along with a CEL so i had it scanned and i now have 4 different codes.. P2187 fuel trim lean, P0234 turbo engine overboost, P0236 boost system performance and P2261 bypass valve stuck. Iv checked the vacuum tank its fine. Anybody have any suggestions? Thinking about changing the bypass solenoid next but idk if that will help. Thanks in advance

its most likely the solenoid, just bypass the solenoid for a run, connect ur bpv line straight to manifold, then plug ur vac tank into the solenoid where bpv was to close the port so u don't have boost leak. u should know in a few minutes if that's ur issue or not. if it works fine, change solenoid.

Sounds like your solenoid. Mine did something similar. My forge started to open during normal driving(-5hg though zero). Then I put the stock one on and would always hear a loud whistle from the turbo, and no BPV sound when letting off the gas in vacuum.

Replaced the BPV solenoid and no more whistle with stock BPV. Put the Forge back on and its no longer opening or sticking open during DD.

I put a new soleniod on and the flutter has seemed to go away but before i had any problems when under full boost and letting off i would hear a very define sound of air now it just sounds as quite as it was with the stock intake.

That's shouldn't have changes. What intake?

Question

Hi I recently bought a colbolt ss turbocharged with a tune and turbo everything done to it but the bov you don’t hear I don’t think even at all or barely what might be the cause to that? Or should I get a new bov that it might help or what might be the issue that I can’t hear the bov ?

A little more info is needed here. What turbo and other mods.... The stock turbo does not have a BOV, it has a Bypass Valve. In stock form its not very loud, with an aftermarket intake is more noticeable, but still not very loud. If you're on the stock turbo with the bypass valve block off plate, your MAF should have been relocated, and a BOV should have been installed, and tuned properly for it. Maybe start another thread with your mod list and the issue you are having, include information on and check engine lights and things liek that.
