No_ss build thread
I have had both, and will say I had more vibration with the ZZP mount by far. The ZZP mount was better than factory probably because it didn't allow much movement. The Powell mounts I have now though are better. With the same tire arraignment I could get wheel hop using the ZZP setup, have little to none with powells. ZZP mounts are pretty though.
post because for some reason 63 Nova's posts wont show up until I do.
Edit: **** it didn't work
Edit2: it does not
IB can we fix this issue it's starting to get extremely annoying

I dont really notice any vibrations at all. I dont have wheel hop at all. Maybe you guys are speaking of the first zzp spacer. There is a gen2 and a gen3 now. Gen3 is a bigger mount and is 3/8, gen2 is 1/4.
No just Nt01s maybe this year
Yes everytime Nova posts it shows up he was the last to post but his posts dont show

Does this one show up? I am still randomly using the old app.
Btw the ZZP mounts I ran didn't have spacers that I remember, like powells do and I had pretty bad wheel hop. I'm glad they have changed that. And the vibration was noticeably more than stock or powells. And when I installed them I did loosen things to try make sure things were able to settle and rotate.

Okay, zzp mount same size as stock. Same amount of spacing under the zzp mount as powell. Explain to me how the axles have to do with suspsension geometry, now that I've asked this for second time because it does not. Hes not burning anyone. He hasnt proved any of the info hes claiming and hes getting defensive with sarcastic comments. Ecaulk is wrong. Done.

Suspension geometry does come into play with axles on fwd, you know since the axle is connected to the knuckle and travels up and down with the axle inside of it...ever watch a car launch?
You should really learn more. Im in school and I've learned all about suspension geometry. Youre wrong. Do some research.
Maybe if it were a live axle rear end without independent suspension would you slightly have a chance at being right as that suspension effects the other side but its not.
Go back to school and learn about physics, specifically rotating objects in multiple planes.
Also I'm not going to waste time comparing a set of zzps to Powells, Powell generated them first while working with GM. Anything after that is at best a damn copy, yea they might look different but the important points are copied.
