noisey second gear

just really noticed, but when I shift from first to second it engages very loudly, like more noticable than the rest of the gears?

Anyone else notice this or have this same problem?

^^^ Yea I've noticed that too but it eliminates the klunk-my only problem is the 1-2 near redline; occaisionally it WON'T go and I bounce off the limiter=not good.

After a tune running out 1st may not be an option anyway...

I have had that too, tried a few NLS runs, 1-2 NLS misses quite a lot..
I am actually a little worried, Might just be in my head, I have grinded twice though.. how bad is it for the tranny they weren't super long, enough for me to go "oh ****" and fix it

^^^DUDE....Your transmission is shot now. If you grind more than once it causes the fly wheel to start floating.

Nah. Youre ok bro. A few grinds here in there wont hurt a thing. Try not to make a habit out of it.

Yeh 1-2 is the hardest to do, and the hardest on the car. I try not to do it so much from 1-2. Hard shifts at that low of gear are not always the bestest idea.

If you cant find it... grind it.

You should look into the drivermod.

crate engine depot sells them for pretty cheap

Mine makes a lot of noise shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to third. But from what I understand its normal on these guys.

Mine was kinda clunky when I first got it from first to second but it is better now. I think it is because I am better at driving this car now and it is worn in a little now.

If your tune is keeping the stock torque management (most do keep some of it) you will still be able to use 1st and 2nd gear at WOT.
