Hey guys, this is about a diesel Mercedes my buddy and I are building. We recently swapped the stock turbo for an he341 off Cummins. We've gone up in size a lot lol. Whenever we're on it building boost it doesn't really smoke but when we come to a complete stop it ******* poors. We stepped the oil restrict or down and it smokes more than it did before. We're don't think it to be blown but we can't really rebuild it. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks guys. If you wanna check it out Its on instagram @kromi_my_homie there's a few videos

Also if we let the car rest it won't smoke at idle. It only smokes when we get on it and stop. That's our reasoning for a non-blown turbo.

It is white. It's definitely oil. We just don't know how. If we start the car and let it idle it won't smoke. If we get on it then down spool and come to idle it will poor smoke but will subside shortly. We put in a smaller restrictor and it only got worse.

We got it figured out. It was a combination of too much oil and not large enough of a return. So it was oil burning lol. Thanks though

On diesel white smoke means you're running too much fuel. Does it smell really really harsh? Does it burn your eyes it's so harsh

Your injectors could also be messed up. Few diesel trucks at my old work had that problem.

We were burning oil and levitated that but youre right we also do burn diesel. It burns your eyes. Lol. We need to turn the pump up. If a diesel is lean it burns white. If it's rich it burns black. We're looking to give birth to baby storm clouds and smoke my tuned lnf. Lol

They're not messed up we just haven't upped the fuel yet. Kind of testin the rigidity of the motor lol they're suppose to be super bullet proof.

Yeah but the seals on the injectors could've went and that's why you could be burning oil. Or at least on one of the injectors.
