Is this normal on an LNF???

Should we be able to see this on an LNF? ...and what is it?

Yeah, I saw that on mine when I hooked up the oil pressure sending unit. Flywheel possibly?

I figured it was the flywheel but just wanted to make sure.

Its ok to have it exposed like that?

There is a small area exposed on a lot of vehicles where it contacts the starter. Not sure why it's exposed like that on these cars though.
