G8s are nice. If you need the extra room i would. If its just you each day riding solo... meh kinda of a pricey change for no reason.

On second thought, you are in Texas. So yes, sell it but come bring your car to me to trade IC and charge piping before trading in.

Reasons?

Lower miles (72k now on the balt), more room in the g8, rwd v8, tried of getting screwed by past and future clutch jobs with this tranny in the balt (thing still doesnt shift right even after going back to stock at a dealer), and if I was to upgrade the car any further and do it right, its going to cost a **** ton? $6500.00 for engine without labor and $4000.00 for tranny done right with upgraded clutch, this not including doing a turbo upgrade and tuning.

I personally would LOVE a G8 but I'm way too cheap to dish out the money for one. In part because I would really prefer a GXP and those things are still selling for north of $35,000 for anything halfway decent, but the GT is still sick and definitely more reasonably priced. To me the G8 is a great balance between V8 performance, room and comfort. I say go for it man.

Your reasons are in line with what i said above, if you want the room and comfort go for it. You wont regret a G8, its a nice car. If it was just a change for change sake it would be an expensive endeavor for no reason.

Also - offer still stands on the IC and charge pipes

I wouldn't do it. I don't need the 4 doors/larger backseat, haven't had any issues with the Cobal, and its paid off.
