oil gallery port
i noticed that there is another oil gallery port on the head by the obvious one in the middle of the head, but more towards the back, has anyone tried an oil pressure sender on that one and if so does it read proper psi unlike the one in the middle of the head.
Use the one closest to the pulley. I used that one for my sender. I will take pics tmw if you want?

yes please do cause i went under the car and looked and if its the one i saw i dont thing it would work, it was on the back and the drive shaft is in the way so it might not be the one u mean. so please, pics.
I'm referring to one of the three oil gallery plugs (1 towards the left of the exhaust manifold is being used for the turbo right now, 2 is right under the exhaust manifold, and 3 is the one closest to the pulley on the right of the exhaust manifold <--- the one I used)

use wire loom
leave some slack in the wire to keep it away from any hot objects, do not let it touch anything in the exhaust directly(inc. turbo)

ok having the exhaust off could help, why didnt u say so. lol i dont think there is any way to do it without taking it off. dangit. should have just got dealership to do it today since they are fixing my sunroof anyway, and checking all the bolts from when they installed the new motor, since i found one that wasnt tightened. and my axle is leaking greese. :P ****, im gonna take it there tomorrow and see if they can just do it.

Use a 6 or 7mm allen socket with an extension, if you strip it use a T-40 star socket.

well i got my fitting today and installed my oil pressure sender, gave me some trouble, but not as hard as i thought it would be. now lets hope the wires dont melt. lol got my temp sensor adapter for the upper rad hose to, all works great, hope the hose doesnt blow apart, it tightened it pretty good, but not to much so i think it should hold. Also got my sunroof fixed so it goes down flush with the roof, they had to order a part for it, it looks great now. no just to get my windows tinted on thursday and wait for my cai, and my elm2 wirless obd2/can thingy so i can use rev on my ipod to get all the info that the performance display gives the 09's and ill be set. sweet.
