Didnt know we had the ability to read oil pressure. Does it just read it off the OBDII?

you might be able to but corect me if im wrong I think the sensor in our cars is an oil switch which just turns on when oil pressure is not right I just installed an oil pressure gauge and sensor using one of the ports on the head directly under the exhause manifold, there are a few "how to" threads on here about it

No you can't read oil pressure through obd2. You actually have to put in a sending unit and all. It's actually easy though.

I've been thinking about adding an oil pressure gauge myself. Glad someone brought this stuff up, I must've missed the original How To threads lol

im guessing those higher numbers are when the oil isnt heated up

See the three plugs on the front side, I used the one all the way to the right, it is where the oil pressure will be the least, so I know if I have good pressure there then the rest of the motor is great.

idk if the 2.4 is the same as the 2.0 but the one in the side, (thats if its on the head, reads low numbers, cause ur numbers seem a little low.
