Well i finally got my intercooler, charge piping, and 3inch exhaust! the install was super easy it took about 5 hours in total and now knowing exactly where all the little clips and screws are hiding it would be a cake walk. the car sounds awesome and has very little to no drone at highway speeds.

So far i have
-K&N sri
-ZZP Catted downpipe
-ZZP intercooler
-ZZP Hot side charge pipe
-ZZP 3inch catback with muffler and no resonator
-Trifecta 23psi tune
-Powell rotated mount(still need to install it)

Next thing to order is the pcv oil air separator from Powell

get me a sound clip. I'm running a custom 3 inch borla and mines sounds great but i am wondering how others sound.

 

i will try and see if i can get one up for you tomorrow it has a low grumble at idle but nothing crazy until you open up the taps

Lucky guy! What were the shipping costs to Canada like? Any crazy duty/fees upon arrival?

 

well the shipping cost was going to be 500$ plus duty so that didn't happen. i found a company that had a warehouse in Blaine washington and crossed the border into canada. so
-80 for shipping from zzp to washington
-50 for company to cross border
-130 for duty(basically the normal 12% tax upon arrival)

 

Check to make sure the muffler tip isn't touching or very close to the bumper. Both the zzp catbacks I've had did that (lsj & lnf) as well as a few friends I've installed. I just heat the hangers up (on the muffler side) and bend them up ~3/4" or so so it lets it hang down a little more centered in the bumper cutout

I feel bad for you Canadians. Between your obnoxious taxes and the laws being
crazy strict on bringing stuff back. I have a cottage in Canada and America usually doesn't give 2 craps about what you bring back.

 

i bent the tabs up so it would sit 1/4 inch lower than how it was supposed to be. it was $999.97 worth of parts after taxes, shipping, and conversion rates i paid $1459.98CAD haha not cheap up here!

sad news even though i did bend the tabs for the muffler it settled over to the right slightly and just started burning the bumper i picked up some longer isolators that solved the problem. you can't see any damage unless you look from under the car i am lucky i caught it so quickly.
