P300 p303
300 is random misfire in first 1000 revolutions. 303 is misfire on cyl 3. id check your spark plugs. or just get new ones. if that dont work you may have a bad coil or coil pack.
Switch the coil on cylinder 3 with one of the other cylinders see if the misfire follows the coil. If the misfire is still on cylinder 3 change the plug. Look for signs of oil. If the misfire still on clylinder 3 it is likely a hard parts issue.
So i went to go get gas yesterday morning and after i filled up and started my bitch up. the CEL was gone and car runs and feels fine. So i guess what im asking is, is it possible to have had a bad batch of gas? And not worry about it? or should i still check out my plugs?
You would be shocked what the feds say is "good" gas. I mean look at it this way, if gas from the distributor went into less than perfect storage tanks and it was already minimum specification for octane and water content, you get where I am going with this. Best bet is to ONLY get gas at stations that have a higher sales volume, are at the highest possible elevations in your area to hopefully have tanks above the water table yet below the frost line. Where I live this is important, Louisiana isn't really known as a "dry" heat. Not many even consider that.
