Question Painting LNF valve cover

Thinking about painting my valve cover, and had a couple of questions.

1. Do I have to unbolt/take anything else off to get the valve cover off?
2. What should I use? Engine enamel?
3. Any tips/ideas on doing this? (and don't say get it powdercoated, I'm too cheap )

Thanks

I started doing this, but could not get the PCV line off so I abandoned the project. Basically, you have to tape over the PCV line and paint around it.

Haha yeah, I saw your thread from when you got it painted. Looks good too. I would powdercoat, but I'd rather not spend the money on it right now. I also wanted to try a two-tone approach which I think would be even harder/more expensive to do with powdercoating.
